Morning Musings: a small shift back to what feels right

Morning Musings: a small shift back to what feels right.

Last night as I was going to bed, I was thinking about how much I’m missing one aspect of my writing.

It’s the regular, somewhat off the cuff emails that I often share with you. Usually I would write about what was going on in my life and how things were working (or not!) in my business.

It’s was a comfort zone that I’ve been trying to replicate in other ways.

For a bit I strayed wanting to pursue the idea of automation with segments that would focus on something narrow and hopefully sell while I’m a sleep, but I also realize that it’s not me.

It’s not how I work, I really enjoy the moments when I sit down at my desk and think about you and think about what’s on my mind and then write.

Yes, sometimes I’m sitting down and writing about a particular offer, or collaboration I’m a part of, but most often it’s just me, the keyboard and the musings that bubble up.

I feel strongly that this is a key part of being a solopreneur.

Doing what feels right in my business and sharing that with you.

Yes, I provide technical WordPress services for my community and my clients, but I’m also a micro business owner and with that comes all the things I do (as do you!) in my business.

My business supports my lifestyle, and I have no intention of bringing on people to support me, I will bring people on to help with projects and banter with Rick for ideas, but overall, my business is just that – my business.

My business, my rules.

Here’s what you can expect, I’m changing up my Dailyish emails to be Morning Musings and you can expect almost daily emails from me.

They will be shorter (usually!) than what I’m sharing today, but all the same I’m aiming to provide value by sharing what’s happening in my business, along with resources and tips to show you how you can create your business your way and help you build your lifestyle business that works for you!

’til next time,

Renee
