Most of them arrived tangled up in something technical and stayed because they wanted someone in their corner who would explain it without making them feel foolish for asking.
I’ve left every one of them in their own words.
As a child, I was told I wasn’t smart enough to get tech things. This made me shy of asking questions. When I saw how Renee Shupe gave a full and honest answer without making the person feel foolish for asking, I knew I was in the right place. When I posted my first question, she answered quickly. But that made me go deeper and I had even more questions. She answered each one of them quickly and with grace. I felt special because the answer was tailored to me. BUT when someone else asked a question that I’d never thought of, and then I asked a question about it, it was answered just as quickly and thoroughly. To summarize, Renee Shupe is quick, efficient, thorough, generous with her time and expertise, and gracious when answering our "silly" questions.
