Squirrel! 🐿️

Oh boy, this morning has been filled with a bunch of squirrel tasks.

I had intentions to write my morning musing about something completely different (it’s started, and I’ll send it another day), but here’s how things went down…

I sat down at my computer, started to write my morning musing, then I had to look something up to reference in that morning musing.

Opened my email, saw a message from an old client that needed some help – decided to reply. You know, if you can do it in 2 minutes or less, LOL!

Then a message from Kit regarding my Stripe set up….

Oh yeah, I have that tab open because I want to purchase that product, oh wait I can’t save the downloads to where I want to because we’re moving back to Google Drive (from OneDrive – that’s a story on its own).

Ack! look at those photos that I should go through, need to transfer those to my external SD card, oh right I also need to download Google Drive and get that set up correctly.

Oh wait….

I was writing my morning musings…

Where was I?

I’m sure you can relate, we all have days where things go off the rails, whether its by our own influence or because we have a family member that needs our help, or something at work has you all out of focus.

I find for myself when it comes to things I’m working on, if I have kicked into squirrel mode the best thing for me is to step away for a few moments. Take some breaths and reset my day.

Lucky for us, we can restart at any time.

Whether it’s refocusing on a task, a new relationship or even launching a business.

Taking some time to step away from what’s causing the distraction can be enough to get us back on track.

How’s your day been?

Distracted like mine, or have you been focused working on something special?

I’d love to know hit reply, I’m here.

’til next time…
